******please arrive 30 minutes before showtime******



In order to perform you must be at the class before the performance.

Thursday July 8th~ Sweet Home High School Variety Show~7pm showtime..$5/person, $3 w/canned food, 12 & under& performers FREE..selected students & dance team performing.

Wednesday July 14th~ The Oaks~ 6:30pm ~621 W. Oak Lebanon~ Team Mandatory

Thursday July 15th ~Linn County Fair ~ 2:30pm at Expo Stage~ FREE Admission, Parking $3.00. Summer dancers & Mandatory Team.

Tuesday August 3rd~ Family Nite out~Ralston Park~5:15pm~Tots, selected students & dance team performing

Saturday August 28th~ NW Art & Air Fair~Noon~Timber Linn Park Albany.

Tuition

Monthly Dues are as follows:
1 class per week $35/month
2 classes per week $50/month
3 classes per week $65/month
4 classes per week $ 80/month
Drop in Rate $10
We accept cash or check ONLY!!!

*If tuition is late please include the late fee of $20 with your payment.
There is a $30 fee on all NSF accounts
Cascade Performing Arts reserves the right to terminate lessons to any student without notice. In such a case a refund for the lessons will be given.
Tuition & Costume payments are not refundable.

Note about how to wear your hair to shows:
Please make sure bangs are back and you have a ponytail.


If you want to use clips to pin bangs back or have a braid that goes into your ponytail that is ok for shows.

Competition hair will all be the same style for all team members.



What to wear to Team Dance Practice:
*Any solid color t-shirt, and black pants
*Bring all dance shoes(tap,jazz,foot paws)
*Hair needs to be secured with bangs back



**In the event that your child does not have appropriate clothing or dance shoes they will give you a call & have to sit in the lobby until they get the appropriate dance items needed.







Things to Remember



Be a Team Player!



Be on time - all the time!



Always arrive at rehersals with a positive attitude.



Be enthusiastic - nothing was ever achieved without enthusiasm.



Be motivated.



Remember the importance of a good warm up and cool down.



Make each rehersal an end in itself - an enjoyable and rewarding experience for all.

Pay attention to the details - it makes all the diffrence!



Dance with pride! Your ensemble is a mirror of you!



Focus on your character - and project!



Have a great attitude - It's not what happens to us but how we work with it that makes a diffrence.



Work with respect - It's something you earn every time you give it!







*Parents are responsible for getting show, practice, and other info. We understand some of you may have two households, it is your responsibility to make sure both houses get the information.

Note to New & returning students.....

Parents...
We do not allow parents or younger siblings to come into the classroom. You are welcome to watch from the lobby. Please watch younger siblings. Do not let them climb on cubbies & counter. No one besides Studio Manager & Teachers are allowed behind the counter.
We are not a daycare facility. Please do not drop your child off more than 15 minutes before their classtime, unless prior arrangements have been made with Lisa.
When class ends your child needs to be picked up.
We charge $1/minute you are late!!

Costumes Alterations and sizing are an ongoing process. Costume payments are not refundable. We appreciate your patience and want to remind students to come to class in proper athletic attire. No Jewlery! No Cell Phones! (in lobby only) Long hair secured!
Shoes Parents please don't buy shoes that are too large for your child. They can inhibit your childs progression. Check at studio to see what type of dance shoes, you should purchase for your child.

Performance Etiquette

Be on time! You are an important part of the show. If, you are late, you may not be able to perform. Come prepared! Bring all costumes and accessories. Make sure all alterations are done ahead of time. Please remove jewlery, nail polish, and tattoos. No Gum!!! Please find out how to fix your hair prior to the performance date. Performance days are busy for everyone involved. Performers are not allowed in the audience once the show has begun. Groups should stay together, lined up and ready to go. Parents should be in the audience unless asked to help backstage. Smile! Enjoy yourselves and Do Not Talk to each other during your performance. Parents need to come get younger children after they dance. We do not allow younger children to go & find their parents in the audience, for safety reasons.

At the studio...

1.We have cubbies for shoes & bags, that way nothing gets mis-placed.
2.We have water for sale for 50cents.
3.We have bulletin boards with information for our parents.
4.We ask that parents watch younger siblings in the lobby.
5.Parents are allowed to watch classes from the lobby.

Expectations....

As with any sport activity, committment is essential. Cascade Performing Arts is committed to teaching dance. We want students who are dedicated to learning! Being committed to practice, showing up on time, having a good attitude, and parent support will make your experience at Cascade Performing Arts a sucess!

Please keep conversation in the lobby positive and up-beat. Negativity is not appreciated or tolerated.

Proper respect for the directors, staff, and fellow students is expected of all students and parents. The studio reserves the right to suspend or dismiss any student whose attitude, attendance or conduct is found to be unsatisfactory.

Regular attendance is necessary in order to make progress in class. If your child is going to be absent, we ask that you call the studio and let us know.

It is the responsibility of the parent to be aware of all studio activities, such as recitals, extra classes, and dates the studio is opened or closed. The studio will post all such notices on the lobby bulletin board as well as our website. It is the parents responsibility to regularly check these boards to ensure they are informed. It is the responsibility of the parent to notify the studio of any address or telephone number change.

Attire....
Students are expected to dress appropriately for each class. Dance dresses, unitards, stretch pants, etc..are all acceptable. No Jeans of any kind are allowed! That means, jean shorts, jean skorts, jean capris, and jean skirts are not allowed! Hair should be securely fastened back away from their face. No jewlery will be allowed in class, except post earrings. The studio is not responsible for any jewlery left at the studio.
